The Madwomen of Chaloutt

Costume designs for a costume design class at Seattle Pacific University.

My designs revolved around this concept of the colors of the world fading as the world changed and became more industrial. The characters themselves take on aspects of different time periods; the madwomen live in the past, fully saturated, as they are clinging to old ideals; the bad guys live in the future, devoid of color, seeking to destroy everything of the past; the vagabonds live in the present, stuck between the two.
